How to Protect Yourself by Recognizing Scams
Unfortunately, there are people out there who prey on people in need with no remorse or guilt. They do not have any morals and try to scam people on our website Begslist.com. On our website we are making a strong effort to stop scams by moderating every message that is sent through our platform to other users.
After we moderate the scam email messages, we are deleting these scammers so that they can't communicate. However, these scammers are persistent and they continue to create new accounts under the same name, but different email addresses. They may also use a different name and email address to continue to find someone that will fall for their scams.
Top Messages From Scammers to our Begslist Users
- They won't donate to you through your Contribute button on your Begslist page.
- Give their phone number and ask you to text or call them.
- Give out their email and ask you to email them if you need help.
- Bad grammar.
- They ask for wire transfers or money orders.
- They will say they will send you a check, but ask you to send money to them for fees to send the check to you.

Bottom Line: If they aren't willing to donate using your Contribute button...they are scammers.
Be Scam Smart and don't communicate with anyone who offers their phone number, email, or ask you for your full information so that they can send you money.
