Salvation Army asking for Easter donations

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD)- The Salvation Army is asking for donations of pre-cooked, boneless hams, eggs and assorted pastries for this year's 2nd Community Easter Breakfast.

With just one day to go, the agency says donations are nearly non-existent.
The Salvation Army expects to feed 500 people Sunday morning.

"The numbers of hungry people in-need are a harsh reality. Easter is a perfect time to come together and help others less fortunate." says Salvation Army Public Relations Director, Tamara McElwee. "The Easter breakfast is a warm, healthy meal that serves, homeless, in-need people on this special day. The food donors and volunteers help make it all happen!"

Food donations may be dropped off at The Salvation Army, 1001 N. Richey Blvd. and The Hospitality House, 1021 N. 11th Ave.

Financial donations may also be mailed to 1001 N. Richey Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716. Attn. Easter
