As embarrasing as this is for me it has come down to it. My name is Ingrid Ollison. My father had a stroke when he was 39 years old and I have been caring for him for the past four years. He is 57 now and it is a real job. Especially since he can't (won't) do anything for himself. Recently, he got really ill and had to go into the hospital where we found out that he had some internal bleeding in his abdomen. Need 2nd mortgage to not become homeless to cover past due amounts
I have been ill recently and my husband is in remission from cancer. We have always been ok (not great, but ok) with my pay, but I was seriously ill with bronchitis and pneumonia for approximately 4 months. Without insurance it took a bit longer to get well. I now have new employment secured( I lost my job) but I am 5 months behind on my mortgage and without me realizing it, they put the foreclosure ad in the paper and I am down to about 4 weeks before sale without knowing in advance. I am able to make the mortgage and also catch up the payments over the next 6 months( I actually got 2 fulltime jobs to try to make sure to make all payments from now on on time). I have approximately 25% equity in my home well worth over the 7,000 I need to catch up payments and pay lawyer fees, which would make them stop the process. I would be happy to let someone take the collateral on a second mortgage to catch up the first, but my credit is now trashed because of the illness and cannot get a traditional second mortgage without help. Is there someone that is able to loan the money with whatever repayment plan you require? I do not know what else to do. Back in November 2007, my Father passed away. Me & my 7-year daughter moved in with him in 2004 in his Michigan home, we moved here from Florida because he asked us to and wanted to get to know his only grand daughter, so we signed over our mobile home to the trailer park we lived in & he came down in a truck & brought us up here. Now that he is gone, I have been paying his existing mortage while still living in his home...I have 2-brothers & 1-sister and the sister is in charge of the estate....even though the will states to divide everthing four-ways, my sister is trying to evict me so that she can sell the home & keep everything for her self....I had to change the locks on the doors because everyday when I am at work, my sister comes in & takes evrything .... we now have no fridge, washer/dryer, or furniture. According to the courts she is not to sell any part of the estate without prior court approval & heir approval but she isn't selling it, she is giving it to her teenage son so he can move out...in the meantime leaving me stuck in an empty house with my 7-yr old and a huge mortage payment to pay..Michigans job market stinks and I work everyday and cannot make ends meet, more ior less buy appliances & furniture. I have tried getting help from the local churches but they say I have to be homeless to get help. I am trying to get a mortage to pay the other 3-heirs for their portions of the home but am having no luck because I can't afford a down payment even with my 1/4 ownership in the home. A few years back, our mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Since, she's been undiagnosed, rediagnosed, and now they are saying that she has "Parkinson's-Like Syndrome." Whatever that means! She also has severe spinal problems, and has had a failed spinal fusion which leaves her unable to work, unable to jump up and do the things she's always done, and unable to save herself when life turns against her. She's also been chemically poisoned by pesticides and mercury. So we've been taking care of her as best we can.
One of us lives across the country. One of us lives in another city. One of us lives across town. All of us love our mom very much and want what's best for her. All of us are having financial problems of our own.
In the past year, it's become more and more difficult for her to take care of herself and for us to fill in the gaps. Her husband, our dad, doesn't help her, even though they live together. Sometimes she calls from her bed and he either ignores her, or he yells angrily at her. He is dealing with his own issues; he's been unemployed and feels overwhelmed and burnt out. At any rate, he can't be depended on much.
We wish that we could take her out of that situation, but financially, she is dependent on him, and none of us are able to take on the role of taking care of her financially. She wants to stay in her own home, and we've been trying our hardest to keep that a reality for her.
As time has gone on, she's needed more and more care. Caregivers are expensive. As a result, other bills have been neglected.
Mom is now being faced with foreclosure on her home. The caregiving agency is threatening to stop sending caregivers. She needs more care than is available from volunteer sources and from her family.
What should we do?
We're starting this blog at http://pleasehelpmom.blogspot.com to talk about it, and also to use to put our ideas out there for fund raising. We'll be selling things to make some cash to help mom out, and we'll be gathering resources that might be useful to others in similar situations.

Hi Everyone. My name is Danielle, and I'm putting this up, not for myself, but for my Uncle Tom. Uncle Tom is fifty two years old, and has worked hard every day of his life. He's not a lazy person at all. Early last July, he was cutting down a tree for his sister, and fell 25 feet, shattering his right ankle, and breaking his left foot. He's been in a wheelchair since he came home from having countless surgeries. He's one of the most independent people I know, and the need to rely on people is killing him inside. Unfortunantly, he was the main source of income in the house that he shares with my Aunt, and their three year old granddaughter, Oriana. They're so very close to losing their home, and I'm scared to death for them. We can't find any assistance in our area for this specific need, and he keeps getting denied for Social Security. He's applied for a Government grant, but it can't come fast enough, because he has to wait over two more months to see even a dime of that money. My Aunt is very physically challenged, and has a very bad heart. She almost died on us last year, and is working as much as she can to attempt to keep up with the house and the bills.. which isn't working. I recently moved in to offer some sort of help, but it seems that nothing is helping. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi my name is Tabitha. We are going to lose our home on Monday December the 15th right before Christmas if I cant find a way to raise to money to pay up our mortgage in 3 days. I am a hard working father of two and a husband to a more than wonderful wife. I am the victim of a bad mortagage. I trusted the man who I invited into my home for the help he promised to give me. Unfortunately, it wasnt help he gave me. It was a horrible mortgage........ I am a local small business owner in Nj. I work very hard to get by. I have a family to die for. We are good good people. Hi, My name is Melanie, I live in Walnut Creek Ca, I am a newly single mom who has been desperately searching for work, and have a great job lined up but it will not start soon enough for me to save my house. My earlier post was probably prohibitively long to read, I just did not want anyone to question the validity of my current need. As of today we have 2.37 cents to our name. I don't know where to begin our story. We are 34 & 37 years old and about to lose what very little we have. I lost my job on jan 5 of this year and my husband lost his on feb 6. My Dad lost his job in the paper industry over a year ago only four years from retirement. They used up all their savings to move to Ontario to a job at another mill. Two Months after moving there the mill went bankrupt and he lost his job again. He was paid monthly and didn't even get his last month’s pay. He applied for his pension early but it is not even enough to pay their mortgage on their small house. They have been living off the equity from the house and money I have been sending. Recently I was injured in a car accident and have been off of work and had no income and have used up all my savings just to feed and house my wife and two kids.

We are trying to create a lifeline now to save us and help us make it to Febuary.
I'm not worried about Christmas, Thanksgiving or any of that, the holiday season is my last concern, their will be no holiday in our house this year, but what I am concerned about is the winter season and regaining stability within the home. Hi, I am at my lowest ebb right now, I am so desperate I am contemplating suicide. In January of this year 2009, I lost my mother to Cancer, aged 63 years, in August of this year, I was made redundant, due to restructuring of the department, also in August, I lost my sister (32) and today, my wife of 15 years walked out on me. I now have no money, two funerals and a redundancy has decimated my funds and now I am going to be asked to leave my home unless I can find £650 by the 23/11/2009, if there is anyone that can help, I would dearly love to hear from you, I am so desperate I really do not know where to turn.

My name is Jeni. I am a mother of 3 and I am about to loose my house. Foreclosure will probably start at the end of this month. When I first got my house payments were not a problem. I am afraid of being homeless with a 3 1/2 month old and losing my 2 oldest children to my ex-husband who does not care for the well being of their future. As embarrasing as this is for me it has come down to it. My name is
Ingrid Ollison. My father had a stroke when he was 39 years old and
I have been caring for him for the past four years. He is 57 now and
it is a real job. Especially since he can't (won't) do anything for
himself. Recently, he got really ill and had to go into the hospital
where we found out that he had some internal bleeding in his
abdomen. After three different surgeries the it was determined that

Need 2nd mortgage to not become homeless to cover past due amounts
I have been ill recently and my husband is in remission from cancer. We
have always been ok (not great, but ok) with my pay, but I was
seriously ill with bronchitis and pneumonia for approximately 4
months. Without insurance it took a bit longer to get well. I now
have new employment secured( I lost my job) but I am 5 months behind on
my mortgage and without me realizing it, they put the foreclosure ad in
the paper and I am down to about 4 weeks before sale without knowing in
advance. I am able to make the mortgage and also catch up the payments
over the next 6 months( I actually got 2 fulltime jobs to try to make
sure to make all payments from now on on time). I have approximately
25% equity in my home well worth over the 7,000 I need to catch up
payments and pay lawyer fees, which would make them stop the process.
I would be happy to let someone take the collateral on a second
mortgage to catch up the first, but my credit is now trashed because of
the illness and cannot get a traditional second mortgage without help.
Is there someone that is able to loan the money with whatever repayment
plan you require? I do not know what else to do. I am not worried
about groceries although there are none at the moment till I get paid

Back in November 2007, my Father passed away. Me & my 7-year daughter moved in with him in 2004 in his Michigan home, we moved here from Florida because he asked us to and wanted to get to know his only grand daughter, so we signed over our mobile home to the trailer park we lived in & he came down in a truck & brought us up here. According to the courts she is not to sell any part of the estate without prior court approval & heir approval but she isn't selling it, she is giving it to her teenage son so he can move out...in the meantime leaving me stuck in an empty house with my 7-yr old and a huge mortage payment to pay..Michigans job market stinks and I work everyday and cannot make ends meet, more ior less buy appliances & furniture. I have tried getting help from the local churches but they say I have to be homeless to get help. I am trying to get a mortage to pay the other 3-heirs for their portions of the home but am having no luck because I can't afford a down payment even with my 1/4 ownership in the home. I am really struggling and on the verge of being homeless with absolutely nowhere to go and about to be jobless because I can't afford gas to get to work. Our mom needs help, and we don't know where to turn. We started a blog at http://pleasehelpmom.blogspot.com. We are three sisters who are trying to save our disabled, chronically ill mother from a bad situation.
A few years back, our mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Since, she's been undiagnosed, rediagnosed, and now they are saying that she has "Parkinson's-Like Syndrome." Whatever that means! She also has severe spinal problems, and has had a failed spinal fusion which leaves her unable to work, unable to jump up and do the things she's always done, and unable to save herself when life turns against her. She's also been chemically poisoned by pesticides and mercury. So we've been taking care of her as best we can.
One of us lives across the country.
One of us lives in another city.
One of us lives across town.
All of us love our mom very much and want what's best for her.
All of us are having financial problems of our own.
In the past year, it's become more and more difficult for her to take care of herself and for us to fill in the gaps. Her husband, our dad, doesn't help her, even though they live together. Sometimes she calls from her bed and he either ignores her, or he yells angrily at her. He is dealing with his own issues; he's been unemployed and feels overwhelmed and burnt out. At any rate, he can't be depended on much.
We wish that we could take her out of that situation, but financially, she is dependent on him, and none of us are able to take on the role of taking care of her financially. She wants to stay in her own home, and we've been trying our hardest to keep that a reality for her.
As time has gone on, she's needed more and more care. Caregivers are expensive. As a result, other bills have been neglected.
Mom is now being faced with foreclosure on her home. The caregiving agency is threatening to stop sending caregivers. She needs more care than is available from volunteer sources and from her family.
What should we do?
We're starting this blog at http://pleasehelpmom.blogspot.com to talk about it, and also to use to put our ideas out there for fund raising. We'll be selling things to make some cash to help mom out, and we'll be gathering resources that might be useful to others in similar situations.

My name is Danielle, and I'm putting this up, not for myself, but for my Uncle Tom.
Uncle Tom is fifty two years old, and has worked hard every day of his life. He's not a lazy person at all.
Early last July, he was cutting down a tree for his sister, and fell 25 feet, shattering his right ankle, and breaking his left foot.
He's been in a wheelchair since he came home from having countless surgeries.
He's one of the most independent people I know, and the need to rely on people is killing him inside.
Unfortunantly, he was the main source of income in the house that he shares with my Aunt, and their three year old granddaughter, Oriana. They're so very close to losing their home, and I'm scared to death for them. We can't find any assistance in our area for this specific need, and he keeps getting denied for Social Security. He's applied for a Government grant, but it can't come fast enough, because he has to wait over two more months to see even a dime of that money.
My Aunt is very physically challenged, and has a very bad heart. She almost died on us last year, and is working as much as she can to attempt to keep up with the house and the bills.. which isn't working. I recently moved in to offer some sort of help, but it seems that nothing is helping.

I am a hard working father of two and a husband to a more than wonderful wife. I am the victim of a bad mortagage. I trusted the man who I invited into my home for the help he promised to give me. Unfortunately, it wasnt help he gave me. It was a horrible mortgage........ I am a local small business owner in Nj. I work very hard to get by. I have a family to die for. We are good good people. Most would say: hey forclose. I just dont have it in me to do such a thing. I dont believe in giving up... At this point, Im not going to take my happy family out of our first house that we planned on buying and keeping. Hi, My name is Melanie, I live in Walnut Creek Ca, I am a newly single mom who has been desperately searching for work, and have a great job lined up but it will not start soon enough for me to save my house. Instead they will move to foreclose steal the equity and my daughter and I will have nothing. Our plan was to sell the house, and move back east buying something for less than $100,000 which would also allow me to put money aside for her college education. If anyone or even a collection of people can help me with this I will gladly draft a legal secured promisary note that will ensure that you are paid back with interest when the home sells. I am extremely motivated to sell the home as until I do my ex will continue to try and exert contol over my life, and he really is not a very good person. Hi my name is Maddi and this is really hard for me to do. Asking for help is not how I was raised. Well it has gotten to the point were I have no choice. We are $978.00 over drawn in our bank because we had to writte checks for food and electric we have gone to the local welfare office but we were denied because my husband makes too much money. My exwife beat my oldest daughter from her shoulder to her thigh in 1993, I came home from work and found 1 of the bruises, after she confessed I asked her for a divorce and went to bed! This is so very awkward for me. I have never asked for help from strangers before, but if this is the only way to save my house, I would appreciate your help. I don't know where to begin our story. We are 34 & 37 years old and about to lose what very little we have. I lost my job on jan 5 of this year and my husband lost his on feb 6. We are in the middle of a bankruptcy and due to our old credit and now lack of jobs we cannot get a loan on our mobile home, it is paid for and very old but it is ours. My Dad lost his job in the paper industry over a year ago only four years from retirement. They used up all their savings to move to Ontario to a job at another mill. Two Months after moving there the mill went bankrupt and he lost his job again. He was paid monthly and didn't even get his last month’s pay. He applied for his pension early but it is not even enough to pay their mortgage on their small house. They have been living off the equity from the house and money I have been sending. Recently I was injured in a car accident and have been off of work and had no income and have used up all my savings just to feed and house my wife and two kids.
My Dad has been unable to get work anywhere and they have run out of money from their equity and cannot even pay their mortgage, I don't know where they are going to get money for their bills or food and fear they are about to lose their house and have nowhere to go or have the money to get back here and live with us.

We are trying to create a lifeline now to save us and help us make it to Febuary.
I'm not worried about Christmas, Thanksgiving or any of that, the holiday season is my last concern, their will be no holiday in our house this year, but what I am concerned about is the winter season and regaining stability within the home. Hello,I'm Michelle .I am running out of options for paying my mothers's Property Taxes . I moved in with my mother after my dad died.She was forced to retire after cancer reoccurred,resulting in her kidney and gall bladder being removed.I work at a small independent bookstore. Between medical bills,creditors and utility bills ,there isn't much left over.Fortunately,Our mortgage is paid off and as much as the house needs insulated and upkeep we knew a loan would never be approved. My immediate problem is paying the Property Taxes.We have received the second late notice stating the taxes will be published and sold in November 4,2009.The amount is overwhelming to me. I had been making payments to an attorney, but missed last months. They took every cent out of our bank account because of one missed payment. This was money we had been saving to pay our mortgage.
Now, I sit here, with two children ages 4 years and 6 months. No way to put food on the table, or make a mortgage payment. I have been listing everything I have on craigslist, trying to get money for food.

I`m a 40year old male. I`m paralyzed and living with my parents for the past 17years as I can not look after myself due to medical conditions. Over the years I have worked fulltime as much as my health would allow and giving my fair share towards the housekeeping and day to day expenses of our family.Even since 2000 I have been confined to my room in bed and still working from bed. My father works a fulltime job aswell. My mother had 3 back fusions already and are not able to realy work, she does make small handcrafted items that she sells for an extra income. So we are not a lazy bunch of people looking for welfare. Due to all our medical expenses we have been getting behind on payments on our home and the bank is going to repossess our home within the next month. I know there are alot of people in the same position as we are but I`m hopeing there would be someone that would see this and help us out. Any king of help would be really appreaciated. I dont know what else to do except ask for help from strangers. God bless all the people helping other people in this world.

Hi, I am at my lowest ebb right now, I am so desperate I am contemplating suicide. In January of this year 2009, I lost my mother to Cancer, aged 63 years, in August of this year, I was made redundant, due to restructuring of the department, also in August, I lost my sister (32) and today, my wife of 15 years walked out on me. I now have no money, two funerals and a redundancy has decimated my funds and now I am going to be asked to leave my home unless I can find £650 by the 23/11/2009, if there is anyone that can help, I would dearly love to hear from you, I am so desperate I really do not know where to turn.

My name is Jeni. I am a mother of 3 and I am about to loose my house. Foreclosure will probably start at the end of this month. When I first got my house payments were not a problem. I had a husband who was making GREAT money. But now I am only receiving a child support payment one time a month of $650.00 for his 2 children. The father of my youngest child is the one who saved me from the hells of my divorce from my first husband. We are planning on getting married soon but don't know when yet. He had a great job when we first started dating and the bills I inquired from my first marriage including my mortgage car payment etc. were all taken care of. Then he was laid off in February of 2009. I worked until the day before I had my youngest child in July of 2009 and did not return to work because I could not afford the cost of my babysitter any longer. I am struggeling now to just pay my utilites and phone bill and groceries. I have not been able to pay my monthly mortgage payment for the past 3 months. Thankfully Josh found a job today. His new employer will let him start in 2 weeks!!!! But I am afraid that I will lose the house and our only vehicle before then (I received the repossession letter on it today). I am afraid of being homeless with a 3 1/2 month old and losing my 2 oldest children to my ex-husband who does not care for the well being of their future. If there is anyone out there who can help us pull this together and keep us from losing our home and our vehicle I would appreciate it. Any help is more than appreciated. I cannot express the amount of stress and anxiety that your help would take off of my heart.

I was laid in April, still looking. I can’t support 2 people on $723 of unemployment a month and not able to get food stamps cause “I make too much”..Anyway, not long ago I found I can’t panhandle either as it is against the law. What is a person supposed to do. Red cross and Salvation army have been no help, I have sold or pawned everything I have of value. I am about to lose my property for $330 in taxes and my vehicle for $293 and I live 20 miles from the closest bus route!! I don’t know what to do.
