I am disabled due to mental illness. I was in the restaurant industry as a cook before my breakdown and now I cannot return to work in this field due to the stress. I tried it several times and each time my symptoms return. I dont have any other trade where I can make money, so I decided to go to college and get a degree in film focusing on screenwriting. I know I can do this at my own pace and in the comfort of my own home. My doctor agrees with me that this is a good idea, but with the limited money I get from disability and financial aid, I am having difficulty surviving. Anything anyone can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

My name is Kimberly Koehler and I am a 28 year old woman who recently graduated in December '07with my Master's degree in Secondary Education. It has been my life long passion (since early college ten years ago) to teach in the fields of government and history. Unfortunately, I have not had success finding a mid year job and my student loans are already being processed for repayment. I am currently babysitting and subbing to make ends meet but am unable to pay my $390.00 a month repayment fee. By not being able to pay this fee, interest is acculumating sending me further in debt over the long term. I am seeking any help in the form of donations to help me repay my loans. I love teaching and am devoting my life to the betterment of society's adolescents but at the cost of my financial security. I would like to consider marriage as an option in the near future but paying for a wedding at this point is out of the question. I am fearful that this debt will be a burden to my future fiance as it is already impacting our relationship, not to mention my health as I have had a recent flare up with acid reflux due to the stress of trying to pay back loans- particulary while being unemployed. I am about to graduate law school with $200,000 in school loans. I am going into public interest law to help those who could not afford a lawyer otherwise. While noble, this does not pay well.
I especially want to pay off a $21,000 private loan that my father co-signed. If I can enough of this off, they will release him from the loan. I really want to get him off the hook.

Hello, I'm Kevin and currently am enrolled at the University of Maryland. I am majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in Japanese. I've had perfect grades so far, but won't have enough money to start the fall term...I used a student loan last year, but i can barely keep up with the bills on that, if I got a second loan I would have to get a loan to pay for a loan, and then i'd be in an endless loop of loosing money...Lately I've been ebaying off everything I own, including my laptop, camera, and stuff I never use like my paintball gun, etc...But now i'm out of stuff to sell, and can't get a scholarship despite how hard I try... My name is Sandy. My husband was recently diagnosed with Persistent Congestive Heart Failure. He has been off work since March 2008 and was hospitalized in March & June due to CHF, low 02 levels & shortness of breath. The doctors still aren't sure exactly what is causing the shortness of breath; the oxygen just isn't getting into the tissues. We are in the process of applying for disability for him; I have heard it is a long, drawn out process.
Our 21-year-old is in her 4th year of college, majoring in photography. She has an exceptional talent and I would hate to see this talent wasted. Money is tight right now and we would appreciate any help for her education that we can get. She would like to teach photography, meaning she would be in school for a few more years.
