My family was hit directly by the february deland tornadoes. My house,
my mom's car, and all of our stuff was destroyed. Fema gave us
28,000.00 dollars but my mom only got 3000.00 out of it, and my stepdad
took off with the rest of it. So i took my savings and got me, my 16
year old sister, my 3 year old brother, and my mom a one bedroom
apartment. and a company called charity cars replaced the car my mom
lost. The car was replaced in april by the end of may the car broke
down so we took it to a mechanic and he swindled us out of 800.00. and
the car still doesn't work. My mom lost her job because she didn't have
transportation, and i got layed off from my job. I just found a new job
which will be able to sustain us but i need help until i can get my
first paycheck in three weeks, i need about 1000.00 dollars but
anything would help. i am more than willing to pay it back. i would
make a payment on it with my first papycheck but i desperatly need the
help. I have two new jobs actually, one where i work at home calling
and doing surveys and i work at a company called DME. But the problem
is that i wont get a paycheck form either for three weeks because they
pay biweekly and then they hold it back for a week. Well my phone which
i need to do one of my jobs is about to get cut off, so i need 180.00
to pay to cingular by the 11th. or else i lose my phone and my job, and
that is the better paying job out of the two. once i egt my first
paychecks i will be back on my feet but i cannot afford to lose that
job. Also my sister is turning 17 this week on the 7th. and we have no
money to get her any presents or anything. So if anyone could help out.
just contact me and i will give you all of the information. whether it
be about my phone or about my sister's birthday. thank you so much for

My best friend Penny who is 37 called today to inform me that her house had burned down yesterday. She lost everything. As if she hadn't already been through enough with losing her 36 year old husband of 10 years to cancer only a year ago and finding out she herself has a rare blood disorder that if she gets cut she could bleed to death and then losing her job as well. She has been through hell and is so very depressed! I am doing this to see if I can't get her some help so that she can replace everything that she lost. She lives in Missouri and it is 20 degrees there now and she lost all of her clothes, all of her household items and all of the pictures and special trinkets of her husband Ron who passed. Of course she can't replace those but I'm hoping that some of you will be able to donate and help her out so that she can have an easier time of things. Especially since it is the holidays and her husband passed away 2 days before Christmas the holiday season was already hard enough for her and now with this is just isn't going to be any easier on her. Here it goes, my wifes parents where living in Washington State in there RV a 1972 dodge that was falling apart. The winter was approaching so being a good samaritan I spent 1000 dollars + going up and bringing them down to live with us in Oregon. They have been living with me my wife and our kids for the last 9 months. They are having a real hard time in this economy as arnt we all trying to save money to buy a newer RV to live in. I have started a fund to try and generate some money to buy them an RV. They are good folks that are down on there luck, There both in there 50's her mother has social security and has real bad health issues and he spends a lot of time taking care of her. My family and I just recently lost our home and everything to a fire Nov 2008. We feel overwhelmed and strapped as the insurance company as usual never fullfills their end of the bargain. It's hard enough to have lost everything we've built up together our whole married lives and also things we've had since we were kids but our 3 childrens things seem to strike the hardest.
