Hello my name is Bryn. I am a mother of 3 wonderful kids!! I have an autistic child, and she also has seizures. It cost so much in gas to get her to and from Dr. appointments!! And then on top of that our refigerator broke down, and we lost all of our food!! So I had to use the power bill money to buy more food, and gas in the truck, plus a new tire to get her to the Dr.'s. My power bill is with FPL, and it is $ 203.69. The final notice was today. I have tryed to get help from everywhere, and no luck at all!! Please help me!!! I was in an abusive marriage for nearly 15 years. In 1995 my husband (I divorced him in 2000) had his brother burn our house down for insurance money due to his greed. I was so afraid of him taking my son away from me (he was only 3 at the time). I had 8 miscarriages before I had him, he is truly a God send. I did not tell on my husband and what he was planning to do.
In 1997 I plead no contest to arson and was sentenced to 10-20 years in prison. I served 6 1/2 years in prison. My son was almost 5 went I was locked up. I missed his first day of school and so much more. My parents raised him on their pension, my husband ditched him.
When I was released my son was starting the 7th grade. My dad was very ill and passed away 6 months after I got out. My mom has cancer and is still raising my son (he is now 15) because that has been his home for so long and he doesn't want to leave grandma all by herself. We have a wonderful relationship.
I have no medical insurance. I am applying for food stamps. I haven't had cable for over a year. I don't go out to eat. I don't go to bars. I don't live in a fancy apartment. I haven't bought new clothes in over 2 years. I am just trying to make my way through life the best I can.

Hello. My name is Jennifer. I am requesting assistance for the sake of my family because I am in a situation that I know I will never be able to overcome without some help from our Guardian Angel. I am a Wife, Mom, Step-mom, Ninamom, & Grandmother. My husband & I have both worked very hard to support our family. But after his accident in June of 2002, our income DRASTICALLY decreased & we were forced to file for Bankruptcy. Then in November of 2002, my husband suffered his first of 6 heart attacks. He has had three angioplasties; his last one was in November of 2006. He's a Diabetic w/heart problems & back problems & is struggling w/depression & anxiety issues due to his inability to provide for his family like he used to. He visits the doctor on a monthly basis and is hospitalized about seven times per year. He takes 10 pills & 4 insulin shots daily which are not cheap! Due to his health he is disabled. I work full time as an office manager for a privately owned chiropractic office. Our combined income is barely enough to survive & w/costs rising, it is getting harder to live. Everything is past due or already cut off: 15k/medical; 5k/credit cards; $106/water; $122/propane; $176/phone; $172/cable; $70/electric; $1250/rent; $2483/IRS. Gas prices are killing me! I drive 45 miles to work one-way just to have a job w/decent salary. I haven't been grocery shopping in 6mo; if I pay the rent or the bills then I can't afford to buy food! The worst and most regrettable of my debt is I got caught up in the vicious cycle of payday loans just trying to provide for my family’s needs! I have 7 payday loans of $300 each. This is what is really killing me! If I could get the $2100 to pay off those payday loans & not have to re-apply for them, I would be in such a better position to pay my monthly household bills, buy my husbands medications and actually go grocery shopping! I've tried to get other loans but my credit is horrible as you can imagine. No one is willing to loan a hard working woman some money for a reasonable monthly payment and fair interest rate without checking my credit! I'm not looking for a hand out, just a second chance. I try to remind myself that no matter how bad we have it, someone out there has it worse. I am truly blessed in the way of family but unfortunately, that does not pay the bills, if it did, I'd be RICH! I've been thru many ups & downs w/my family & many scary situations. I have almost lost my husband a few times but thankfully, God decided it wasn’t his time to go yet. I've been homeless, jobless, auto less, hungry, hurt, and talked about, but something always gives. The last eight years have been very difficult--we bought a house, which we just lost due to my husbands job reducing his hours and the housing decline in Michigan. The real reason for my request is that I have been to court for support payments and I owe over 14,000 dollars in support. My bills became so outstanding because when ever I lose a job through lay offs, closings, etc. unemployment only pays a very small percentage of my original support order. All I need is 4,000 dollars to pay on my arrears (to keep from spending time in jail) and 1,300 to have an engine put into my car (1988 chrysler reliant K) so that I may extend my search for work and to pay all that I owe. My court date is in August and I have never been incarcerated before, and now that I have a Pharmacy Technician Certification, I definetly do not need a record. Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm Ashley and my roommate is Trafford, we are in need. I have 5 hospital bills to pay ranging from 300 - almost 4000$, we have a past due light bill and gas bill, and we have a breaking the lease bill to pay. After losing the apartment we had, we had to move in with my parents, which supporting 4 people with only one person working on 15 to 20 hours a week at $7.40 doesn't help. Trafford gets unemployment,but not for much longer, the under 500 we get a month from that goes to gas, groceries, needed things like soap, dish soap etc, car repairs and paying my parents back for the 700 they loaned us to help us keep out apartment for another month. We absolutely hate asking people for help, especially strangers. But this is the only option left for us. We have been searching for jobs left and right, but almost all the places for work here are family owned or not hiring, and to go further out to look for a possible job would cost more money than we don't have for gas to drive an hour away in a gas guzzling van. It's especially hard for me to find a job because I have been diagnosed Bi-Polar and am continually in and out of therapy and can't afford the medication I need. I am medically disabled and on a fixed income which here in Texas comes to $653 a month for me.
Bills have been backing up and had to recently let go of my house fone as the bill got to be too much and a neighbor gave me her old cell fone which I got service on but the fone is now starting to not work right and I need to get a new one but have no money to do so as after paying rent, gas, water, getting dog food for my dogs to last the month, and buying what little food I can, that wipes out all but like about $40 or $50 of my money for the month.
Father also has recently had a stroke and in a skilled care home and I need to keep in constant contact with the home and with my cell starting to go out at times, I need to get a new one.
And also, my air conditioner has quit on me and with these really hot texas days and nights, some nights I cant sleep even with the windows open and a small box fan going.
To get a new air conditioner will cost about $400(i need to keep cool as with the medical condition I have, if it gets too hot, I run the high risk of my illness flaring up and then I will have to go into the hospital)and to get a new cell fone of the same make as the one i have will run $150.
I hate to beg because I was raised up in a proud family but my back is against the wall and i have no other options left and sometimes it makes me cry myself to sleep because I feel useless and like I am nothing.

I have a house with a leaking roof that goes into the kitchen. I top porch that leaks into the living room. I need money to make the repairs so I can sell it! I want to at least break even. I've given up on the thought of making a profit! The house also needs a new rubber roof on the top porch, new gutters, paint, windows, fence, and cosmetic work on the inside. We have ten children. One has been very sick since birth. We has to take him to a hospital 40 miles away at least 2 or 3 times a week. I mow lawns and such for the moment since painting is so slow right now. I have worked hard all my life and so has my wife. My wife is awaiting disability now, as she is unable to work now. The power was shut off recently. We got it turned back on due to my sons illnesses. They said they will shut it off again on Oct 31. My water is also currently shut off. Hi, my name is Megan Bliss and I am 20 years old. I'm not going to give some sob story, exaggerate my life, or give you any bs; I'm going to give you the truth. I am a nursing student at a little school in southern Indiana. I've dreamed a long time about being a nurse and now it's finally happening. However, I made need to drop out this next semester because I need to get a second job to pay off all my debt. I pay for all my own college, my parents do not help and I have foolishly gotten credit cards to help me pay for food and bills, because I live on my own. My mother and I don't have the best of relationships and I moved out when I was 16. My rent is $635 a month, utilities are about $260 a month, on top of that I pay $150 for my car payment and $60 for my insurance. Now, that isn't so bad, I make about $1100 a month. However I have 14 credit cards and the total on those is $36,798.38 as of today Nov. 3, 2008. My monthly payments all added together for credit card debt is about $700 a month. And my school loans total $36,000 as of this semester. I know it is my fault for racking that much debt up, but I am just trying to survive. So I would still be paying it off if I tried to sell it (which I have no one is interested...)..... and I tried to get help and no one will help me because my credit is sooo bad.need co-signers( but dont have any because my only family member mother went bankrupt a few yrs back.. and I dont know my dad).. the loan I request is too big.. I dont make nearly enough money at work right now..aprrox $1700 a month on commission based.. I work 12 hours days .. I beg to stay there to make money and Im still not getting by.... After reading the desperate pleas of single mothers and broke college students begging for student loan repayment, I decided that instead of begging, I would offer. Please don't get me wrong. So my name is Addie and here is the situation; I am 63 years old with a genetic back problem which does not allow me to move around much. I am on SSI and make $424 a month. I have recently taken in my brother, Melvin, who has an entire list of health problems himself including heart disease, a recently reversed colonostomy, a previous case of lymphoma (which hasn't reoccured, thank God!), and he is 100 percent deaf in one ear and 60 percent deaf in the other (we recently ordered that Silver XP hearing aide thing online, but haven't received it yet). I have four animals, which I have had forever and am not willing to part with, three dogs (a chihuahua, yorkie, and staffordshire terrier) and a talking African Gray parrot named Lolita. We also have a family friend living with us, a nice woman named Monique who has offered her services free of charge. She is taking care of all of us, doing errands, picking up prescriptions, paying bills--when we can--and cleaning and cooking, all free of charge. She is a Godsend. Anyway, the problem is that our total income, below $12000 a year cannot sustain us. We are five months behind on our manufactured trailer payments ($250 per month), and three months behind on our phone and cable bills ($140 per month) which will be cut off on Friday the 16th if we do not receive any help. We have just paid our gas and water bill, which was $60, and we have several pieces of jewelry in hock, totaling $150, that we have to pay by the 19th of January or they will take them. We do get food stamps so we are not starving, but if we don't find some way to pay our bills we will be out on the street. We have exhausted every possibility for government funds, and as the government has less money than we do, you can only imagine what the responses have been. The cancer and heart disease foundation are overstacked and will only give to nonprofits. We have done everything there is we can do. Monique even thought about getting another job, but she is needed here, taking care of us (it kind of defeats the purpose). So if any of you kind-hearted individuals could help us, it would be greatly appreciated. ANY donation would be helpful, as we are in dire straits. If you want proof we are more than willing to send it to you, even pictures of the whole group if you want them. Hello, recently I have gone through painful dental procedures but had to stop because I ran out of money. I am currently getting by each day taking tylenol to help with the pain. The tylenol was given to me by my neighbor who also makes meals for us to eat.
I need a full upper denture to be able to eat solid foods again and need 5 teeth replaced on the bottom. Currently I am getting by with only a few intact teeth and eating soft foods that do not require a lot of chewing.

When I got up my then 2 girls were gone she took them,had a affair with a policeman, and minister, next thing I knew the same cop charged me with abuse and rape of my then wife, the charges were dismissed eventually! the cop early retired unvoluntarily, the minister fired! The past follows you and those allegations were used by child protection to take my other 2 children away and put up for adoption in 08 I went to therapy or rx my therapist said I was a victim of the system and that I suffer from post tramatic stress! Been rebuilding my life everysince, recently got hurt on the job, my hands and left knee, had 2 surgeries just found out I will need more and additional therapy! Hi, I am Ronald Van Ingen! I am 37 years, my hole life i worked very hard because i thought, tath you could deserve this way much money and you could make your dreams and wishes come true .! But that was not this way at all. I have been a nurse for 18 years, most recently working with a local Hospice. My only child died 19 months ago at the age of 22. Since then my world has done nothing but spirial downward.
The grief and depression has caused me to take medical leave from work. Since Jerrys death I have been stricken with Fibromyalgia, anxiety attacks, and of course depression. I have lost my home to foreclosure, my car was repossessed for nonpayment and I lost my husband who just couldn't understand the pain of losing a child (he was not Jerrys father and has no children of his own).
I am living in a small rented duplex and borrowing money from my retired father to pay my bills. He can not afford to continue helping me.

My name is Renee and i am 31 years old. I have a daughter that is disabled and recieves ssi. I was a student but am not any longer. I have been trying to get a job, however i live in the desert and am limited to the immediate area surrounding my apartment. I never thought it would come to this but here I am. My husband was laid off last year for 3 months and we were already living paycheck to paycheck. He started back to work but is making 6.00 less per hour and I cannot keep up with my bills. I am behind on my gas bill 60.00, my electric bill 76.00. I am going to be 60 days late on my car payment on 5-12, I just made a payment to them on Friday and they call me at least 8 times a day wanting more. I am 700 behind on my May rent, and 140 behind on my phone bill, and I owe the water company 3 months of payment 173 total and am behind 111.19.
Everytime I make payments I may just keep the bills on for another month, but I cannot ever get ahead. I am to the point I have pawned all my kids video games, and I feel sick, and want to cry. My name is Elaine and I am working through an endless and nasty divorce where my ex- is fighting for custody of one of our two children. My son has mental health issues as has been placed in a residential treatment center for abusive and destructive behaviors to which I hope he learns the tools needed to function in society. Well, where do I start? After I got home from a long deployment in Iraq, September of 2005, I received joint physical and legal custody of my son, Coby, early 2006. After a few months of having joint custody, my ex, Heather, took me to court to take it away. When my son was 6 years old, I got a call at work from a daycare center, which my ex just got our son kicked out of because she was being belligerent with the manager, to let me know that they found my son outside at the bus stop after school crying his heart out, alone and scared because his mother was not there to get him. They told me that she has done this several times before. She told the daycare center that she expected him to walk home. Children and Youth Services were contacted. A few weeks later I ran into Heather's ex best friend, she told me that while my ex and I were still together and while I was at work, Heather left Coby in her best friend's house alone, unknown to anyone, for hours while out partying. Children and Youth Services were contacted when her friend found Coby in the house. Always wondered why they stopped being friends, now I know! To this day Coby is traumatized to be left alone. He cries and shakes uncontrollably when he thinks he's alone. I took Heather to court to switch Coby to the school district that I lived in because she was moving out of his current school district. I thought it would be a good idea since he already made friends from wrestling at my school district. I tried to do it the easy way and ask her to switch him but she fought me the whole way, so I had to take it to court. During his first year at the new school, Coby was diagnosed with ADHD. He was put on a medication called Vyvanse, plus he started to get mobile therapy for a lot of the issues that he is having trouble coping with including abandonment. Since his mobile therapy has started in the end of 2007, he has admitted to his mobile therapist that his mother leaves him alone at her house, is not given his medication at her house, sometimes there's not enough or no food at her house for him to eat(his weight is always fluctuating-up at my house, down at hers). The mobile therapist asked him why he had bruises on his arm. He told her that he fell down at the playground, but there was fingertip type bruises. When questioned by her again, he told her that him mother grabbed him by the arm and pulled hard. During the one and only visit which just happened last week(June 2009), Heather told the mobile therapist that she saw no reason for the mobile therapy or for the summer school which the school has recommended he attend to help him be able to handle 4th grade. Heather also told the mobile therapist she sees no problem letting him walk by himself to a park program in a park where gangs are prominent. Heather's been evicted from a former residence, has had her electric shut off at her current residence. It's also been an ongoing problem with clothing that is way too small for him at his mother's house. He normally wears a 10/12, but she insists on putting him in size 8 pants and 6/7 shirts. His step-brother also has ADHD and he has a person come to the house to help him refocus called a TSS. While the TSS was there one day, Coby was doing a Find It homework where he had to find words with double EE. He asked my fiancee how to spell weed, and admitted that his mother had both types of cigarettes at her house. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I have documentation for everything. I have all I need to get full custody. I just need more funds to get there. Please help this very emotionally distressed 9 year old boy to have a more stable life. I have to pay on my credit card, the payment every month is $25.00 about. I usually if I have cleaning jobs pay like $30.00-$40.00 on it. I have been trying to go to many doctors to see what my medical conditions are and now my insurance was turned off. I LOVE THE SYSTEM.. if you know what I mean... so now I have to wait 45 days and i need my Tegrotol pill and stuff for me mental health. I also need a NEW water pill for my feet and ankles I have the pills waiting for me, but I have no income to pick them up. I am not sure how much they are. I also monthly get Prevacid and a allergy pills. I also have no money comming in for cleaning products and I have 5 cats in a basement with me, I live in the basement with them, There is no ventalation and I can not breath.

Hello, I am a disabled mom of 3 kids under 3, My husband is unable to work like he used to due to a head injury that has caused him many many problems. ****FULLTIME NURSING STUDENT**** **ONLY 8 MONTHS LEFT!!** I am here requesting some help with school. I am a fulltime nursing student and have applied to many scholarships, grants, financial aide etc, and haven't gotten much help at all. I feel devastated and don't know what I'm going to do to get through school the last year. I have a learning disability and that really takes all my time trying to keep up with courseload so it's extra hard for me, which nursing school is already EXTREMELY hard as it is. I usually spend 60 hours a week at school or studying which is a fulltime job in itself and cuts into my chances at having anytime left for a job. Added to all of that, where I live they are on a hiring freeze in the healthcare industry. I'm 8 months away from graduation and I don't know how I'm going to pay any bills, or buy groceries or even how I'm going to have gas to get to school. I am very upset with how hard, financially, it is on medical students when there is such a nursing shortage! You would think they would make it soo easy and aeveryone would get help since the governement is the one who is saying there is such a huge shortage. There is but half the people I know who graduated still don't have jobs a year later, and nurses are usually hired right after graduation!! I HAVE TRIED ALL MY OPTIONS, EVERY SINGLE SCHOLARSHIP, GRANT, LOAN PROGRAM, WORK STUDY EVERYTHING LITTERALLY! SO NOW I'M LEFT WITH BEGGING. I have been turned down in writing by 5 different scholarships just in the last week! (So much for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act they passed in February, that's going to be used 2010-2011 school year, which won't include me.) I don't want to give up going to school, but I might be forced to! Hi I am a single mum, 41 years old with 2 beautiful boys aged 7 and 9. This is the first time I have ever had to ask for any financial assistance and I have no idea how to ask someone you don't even know to help.... First of all a bit about my situation... My sister was admitted to hospital after 2 suicide attemps, this by itself has been a terrible thing to deal with. Over the last few months I have spent most days travelling to my sisters house to help with my mother looking after my sisters 3 girls. Trying to make their lives as normal as we can. This has been hard, as each morning I have to get my kids to school first and then drive an hour to my sisters house ad do everything there too. After 8 weeks of being in hospital my sister has been released and diagnosed with a multiple personality disorder as well as her annorexia she has dealt with for the past 3 years. As you can imagine she is in need as a lot of support from the rest of the family. Being a single mum herself she has only got mum and dad and myself to help. Over the last few years there have been many times I have had to have her girls come and stay with us for weeks at a time. Having 5 children to look after by myself has been really hard but you do anything for family.... Saying all this now I must get back to my situation. I am $1800 behind in my rent and face eviction, with nowhere to go at all. I am lucky that my landlord has given me a few weeks to pay this but have no way of saving any money towards it. I live from week to week as it is at the moment, just struggling to pay rent, household bills, food school expenses, etc etc. We have not had hot water here since April as tho hot water service broke and because I am behind in the rent I was hesitant to contact the landlord as I felt so bad. He has now been told and is willing to come and look at it and fix it but last month our gas was disconnected because I was behind in the bill. I have since caught up with the overdue gads bill and am now paying $40 a week to stay on top of it. The problem is I have to pay $100 to have the gas service reconnected. When you have no extra money each week coming up with even $100 dollars is impossible. We have been surving doing our cooking on my camping stove and boiling water for baths but as you can imagine it is very hard. My electrcity bill is also $500 dollars overdue and I am facing disconnection with power too. I also pay $40 a week on that now but it is taking awhile to catch up. How do you ask someone you don't know for this finanicial help?? I am just hoping that there are some kind, generous people out there that are in a position to help me out. My name is Katherine and this is the first time I have tried this.
I am in need of help and I don't know what else to do. I suffer from depression and have a very hard time keeping a job once I find one. I have no savings left.
I will be getting an eviction notice any day and my car will be repossessed at the end of this month.
I was in an abusive marriage for nearly 15 years. In 1995 my husband (I divorced him in 2000) had his brother burn our house down for insurance money due to his greed.
I was so afraid of him taking my son away from me (he was only 3 at the time). I had 8 miscarriages before I had him, he is truly a God send. I did not tell on my husband and what he was planning to do.
In 1997 I plead no contest to arson and was sentenced to 10-20 years in prison. I served 6 1/2 years in prison. My son was almost 5 went I was locked up. I missed his first day of school and so much more. My parents raised him on their pension, my husband ditched him.
When I was released my son was starting the 7th grade. My dad was very ill and passed away 6 months after I got out. My mom has cancer and is still raising my son (he is now 15) because that has been his home for so long and he doesn't want to leave grandma all by herself. We have a wonderful relationship.
I have no medical insurance. I am applying for food stamps. I haven't had cable for over a year. I don't go out to eat. I don't go to bars. I don't live in a fancy apartment. I haven't bought new clothes in over 2 years. I am just trying to make my way through life the best I can.
Due to my conviction, it is very hard for me to get a job. I look for work every day. I will take any job offered to me. I do have health problems, depression, migraines, tendinitis, anxiety, arthritis. So a lot of jobs I cannot not do, but I try. I really do try.
I am trying to sell what I have that may be of some value to someone else. But I really don't have much. I don't know what else to do. If any one can help me, I would truly appreciate it.

Hello. My name is Jennifer. I am requesting assistance for the sake of my family because I am in a situation that I know I will never be able to overcome without some help from our Guardian Angel. I am a Wife, Mom, Step-mom, Ninamom, & Grandmother. My husband & I have both worked very hard to support our family. But after his accident in June of 2002, our income DRASTICALLY decreased & we were forced to file for Bankruptcy. Then in November of 2002, my husband suffered his first of 6 heart attacks. He has had three angioplasties; his last one was in November of 2006. He's a Diabetic w/heart problems & back problems & is struggling w/depression & anxiety issues due to his inability to provide for his family like he used to. He visits the doctor on a monthly basis and is hospitalized about seven times per year. He takes 10 pills & 4 insulin shots daily which are not cheap! Due to his health he is disabled. I work full time as an office manager for a privately owned chiropractic office. Our combined income is barely enough to survive & w/costs rising, it is getting harder to live. Everything is past due or already cut off: 15k/medical; 5k/credit cards; $106/water; $122/propane; $176/phone; $172/cable; $70/electric; $1250/rent; $2483/IRS. Gas prices are killing me! I drive 45 miles to work one-way just to have a job w/decent salary. I haven't been grocery shopping in 6mo; if I pay the rent or the bills then I can't afford to buy food! The worst and most regrettable of my debt is I got caught up in the vicious cycle of payday loans just trying to provide for my family’s needs! I have 7 payday loans of $300 each. This is what is really killing me! If I could get the $2100 to pay off those payday loans & not have to re-apply for them, I would be in such a better position to pay my monthly household bills, buy my husbands medications and actually go grocery shopping! I've tried to get other loans but my credit is horrible as you can imagine. No one is willing to loan a hard working woman some money for a reasonable monthly payment and fair interest rate without checking my credit! I'm not looking for a hand out, just a second chance. I try to remind myself that no matter how bad we have it, someone out there has it worse. I am truly blessed in the way of family but unfortunately, that does not pay the bills, if it did, I'd be RICH! I've been thru many ups & downs w/my family & many scary situations. I have almost lost my husband a few times but thankfully, God decided it wasn’t his time to go yet. I've been homeless, jobless, auto less, hungry, hurt, and talked about, but something always gives. I always help people when I can. I & my husband have the biggest hearts, especially when it comes to kids & animals. We have been fortunate enough to help raise our nieces & nephews, take in homeless families & rehabilitate sick animals. Now it’s my family’s turn to receive help. I believe there is a guardian angel out there willing to help me, maybe he/she will read this plea & agree to help my family out in some way; every little bit helps. I am not going to give you some sob story of how screwed up my life is. To be honest I am content with what God has given me. All I ask for is a little help. I am a wife, mother and stepmother. I have raised my daughter without support from her father and have raised my stepdaughter without support from her mother. My husband and I both work hard everyday and have for over 20 years. The last eight years have been very difficult--we bought a house, which we just lost due to my husbands job reducing his hours and the housing decline in Michigan. We have four kids, we are now renting an apartment and barely making it. There is never enough food in the house, and never enough money to pay the bills. Well! here I go. I never thought that I would spend so much time trying to fiqure out how to use a sight like this. I wish that I have found it to make someone else's life better by being a giver. I have never been in a position like the one I am in now. I am 45 years old in good health (except for hypertension). I have been looking for a job to pay my bills. I am a graduate from Girard College (when it was all male) in Philadelphia, Pa. I had a chance to make something of myself but I always had a hole in my heart that has never healed. I went to Girard because my mother was killed. I never received counseling, so I began looking for different ways to satisfy the hole in my heart. I look back at my life and I see that I never had anyone who could show me how to make the best of my life. I have seven children and I pay child support for each one except for my oldest daughter who is 22years old and in college. I Have recently finished a course at lincoln tech to become a pharmacy tech. I have been looking all over for jobs and there seems to be some promising leads, I just need someone to give me a chance to build some experience. The real reason for my request is that I have been to court for support payments and I owe over 14,000 dollars in support. My bills became so outstanding because when ever I lose a job through lay offs, closings, etc. unemployment only pays a very small percentage of my original support order. All I need is 4,000 dollars to pay on my arrears (to keep from spending time in jail) and 1,300 to have an engine put into my car (1988 chrysler reliant K) so that I may extend my search for work and to pay all that I owe. My court date is in August and I have never been incarcerated before, and now that I have a Pharmacy Technician Certification, I definetly do not need a record. I will send any type of proof to you if you don't believe my request. you don't have to give money straight to me it can be sent to child support. I can also use a 2.2l four cylinder engine instead of cash. thank you very much.
My name is Gerald. I know this sounds like my own fault, AND IT IS! I took chances when I was younger and sold marijuana. I was caught and sent to prison for a 25 year sentence. I served 12 years and 5 months before being released. YES, I WAS STUPID!! I paid my dues to society and now that I have been released it is very hard to get back on my feet. I have never done this begging before. I was very reluctant at first but my bills are piling up and I have no other way to get help but rely on the goodness of strangers. Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm Ashley and my roommate is Trafford, we are in need.
I have 5 hospital bills to pay ranging from 300 - almost 4000$, we have a past due light bill and gas bill, and we have a breaking the lease bill to pay. After losing the apartment we had, we had to move in with my parents, which supporting 4 people with only one person working on 15 to 20 hours a week at $7.40 doesn't help. Trafford gets unemployment,but not for much longer, the under 500 we get a month from that goes to gas, groceries, needed things like soap, dish soap etc, car repairs and paying my parents back for the 700 they loaned us to help us keep out apartment for another month.
We absolutely hate asking people for help, especially strangers. But this is the only option left for us.
We have been searching for jobs left and right, but almost all the places for work here are family owned or not hiring, and to go further out to look for a possible job would cost more money than we don't have for gas to drive an hour away in a gas guzzling van. It's especially hard for me to find a job because I have been diagnosed Bi-Polar and am continually in and out of therapy and can't afford the medication I need.
Trafford is constantly hitting the pavement for a job but no luck. Were desperate for help.

Im steve. a husband, a father of 3 beautiful girls. I lost my job over 8 months ago and im currently facing a very tough time. For the past 9 years i have been working as a professional dancer and have been doing fairly well. But recently the circumstances have changed. Opportunities in that field have seemed to have dried out. Hello my name is Karen. I have lots of medical bills, due to a fall in a grocery store. There insurance want pay anything, and I have no medical insurance of any kind. I had to stay in hospital for three days to repair ankle. Please Help Me.
I am medically disabled and on a fixed income which here in Texas comes to $653 a month for me.
Bills have been backing up and had to recently let go of my house fone as the bill got to be too much and a neighbor gave me her old cell fone which I got service on but the fone is now starting to not work right and I need to get a new one but have no money to do so as after paying rent, gas, water, getting dog food for my dogs to last the month, and buying what little food I can, that wipes out all but like about $40 or $50 of my money for the month.
Father also has recently had a stroke and in a skilled care home and I need to keep in constant contact with the home and with my cell starting to go out at times, I need to get a new one.
And also, my air conditioner has quit on me and with these really hot texas days and nights, some nights I cant sleep even with the windows open and a small box fan going.
To get a new air conditioner will cost about $400(i need to keep cool as with the medical condition I have, if it gets too hot, I run the high risk of my illness flaring up and then I will have to go into the hospital)and to get a new cell fone of the same make as the one i have will run $150.
I hate to beg because I was raised up in a proud family but my back is against the wall and i have no other options left and sometimes it makes me cry myself to sleep because I feel useless and like I am nothing.

I have a house with a leaking roof that goes into the kitchen. I top porch

We have ten children. One has been very sick since birth. We has to take him to a hospital 40 miles away at least 2 or 3 times a week. I mow lawns and such for the moment since painting is so slow right now. I have worked hard all my life and so has my wife. My wife is awaiting disability now, as she is unable to work now. My bank account went into negative because I get my bills automatically withdrawn and was unable to turn off automatic bill pay on time when I was laid off recently. I have since then been able to turn off automatic bill pay services but am still over 300 in the hole. I tried calling the bank and they were not very helpful. I am a nursing student at a little school in southern Indiana. I've dreamed a long time about being a nurse and now it's finally happening.
However, I made need to drop out this next semester because I need to get a second job to pay off all my debt.
I pay for all my own college, my parents do not help and I have foolishly gotten credit cards to help me pay for food and bills, because I live on my own. My mother and I don't have the best of relationships and I moved out when I was 16.
My rent is $635 a month, utilities are about $260 a month, on top of that I pay $150 for my car payment and $60 for my insurance. Now, that isn't so bad, I make about $1100 a month. However I have 14 credit cards and the total on those is $36,798.38 as of today Nov. 3, 2008. My monthly payments all added together for credit card debt is about $700 a month. And my school loans total $36,000 as of this semester.
I know it is my fault for racking that much debt up, but I am just trying to survive. I don't have anything nice to show for it, just gas in my car and a roof over my head. I am using my schools computer, I don't waste my money on the internet.
I don't want to not make it through nursing because of this weight of debt and I don't want collection agencies coming after me, I already have two.

I got a bill in the mail for $2300 from TAXES today (because my mom didnt include a job that I had when i asked her if she did, she hadnt.. and a yr later I got a bill with $1400 for penalty charges (RANDOMLY).. if thats not bad enough I got slammed with a EI bill a few months prior to that ago for $3600 and they charge interest as well as tax does..I called both places to cut me some slack " they said they didnt care that (i had problems with my mom and she did my taxes and ei) that pay your bill, my mom wont even help me fix this and she was the one who offered to do my taxes she just hangs up on me and tells me to quit crying and deal with it, and on top of that I got slammed with a bill of $1000 for MSP.. and on top of that my cell phone pay out is $1000 to break contract,.. cause I cannot afford to own a cell.. so its on vacation hold right now... and praying someone will take over my contract for a free blackberry..... and on top of that my MasterCard is $7000 maxed out... on top of that i have a $10,000 student loan that comes out of my bank every month and on top of that I have a car that still owes $7000 (thats not worth that much money.. So I would still be paying it off if I tried to sell it (which I have no one is interested...)..... and I tried to get help and no one will help me because my credit is sooo bad.need co-signers( but dont have any because my only family member mother went bankrupt a few yrs back.. and I dont know my dad).. the loan I request is too big.. Happy Holidays to all. First of all, I'd like to say that I never thought I'd resort to this. I'm crying a river of tears as I type. Ok I am not one to beg but in my situation I feel desperate and hopeless.
I am in a little bit of debt trouble approx $30,000 in total my monthly income is $1500 and that is barely getting me by, I am $400 short a month to make my monthly payment requirements.
I've been to 2 different banks and a wells fargo, all turned me down; credit is really bad, not making enough money, need a co-signer.
It has gotten so bad that I called a credit counselor and the only option she could give me was to apply for bankruptcy (i began to tear up) this is not my fault, I don't have a spending issue.
I am 22 years old and feel hopeless feel like I will not be able to succeed my dreams of a house one day with kids and you know Id really like to travel never been anywhere outside of Canada, I feel like I'm the only one of my friends who is not getting anywhere in life.

I too recently found myself in a pretty tight financial situation and decided to check out the cyber begging sites. After reading the desperate pleas of single mothers and broke college students begging for student loan repayment, I decided that instead of begging, I would offer. Please don't get me wrong. So my name is Addie and here is the situation; I am 63 years old with a genetic back problem which does not allow me to move around much. I am on SSI and make $424 a month. I have recently taken in my brother, Melvin, who has an entire list of health problems himself including heart disease, a recently reversed colonostomy, a previous case of lymphoma (which hasn't reoccured, thank God!), and he is 100 percent deaf in one ear and 60 percent deaf in the other (we recently ordered that Silver XP hearing aide thing online, but haven't received it yet). I have four animals, which I have had forever and am not willing to part with, three dogs (a chihuahua, yorkie, and staffordshire terrier) and a talking African Gray parrot named Lolita. We also have a family friend living with us, a nice woman named Monique who has offered her services free of charge. She is taking care of all of us, doing errands, picking up prescriptions, paying bills--when we can--and cleaning and cooking, all free of charge. She is a Godsend. Anyway, the problem is that our total income, below $12000 a year cannot sustain us. We are five months behind on our manufactured trailer payments ($250 per month), and three months behind on our phone and cable bills ($140 per month) which will be cut off on Friday the 16th if we do not receive any help. We have just paid our gas and water bill, which was $60, and we have several pieces of jewelry in hock, totaling $150, that we have to pay by the 19th of January or they will take them. We do get food stamps so we are not starving, but if we don't find some way to pay our bills we will be out on the street. We have exhausted every possibility for government funds, and as the government has less money than we do, you can only imagine what the responses have been. The cancer and heart disease foundation are overstacked and will only give to nonprofits. We have done everything there is we can do. Monique even thought about getting another job, but she is needed here, taking care of us (it kind of defeats the purpose). So if any of you kind-hearted individuals could help us, it would be greatly appreciated. ANY donation would be helpful, as we are in dire straits. If you want proof we are more than willing to send it to you, even pictures of the whole group if you want them. I called to transfer my services and to my surprise the main provider in this area does not service where we are moving, they have a small company that services that entire area, so their is no going around them, and their costs to start services is excessive to say the least.
We have put everything we had into getting the house, have small children and have to be out of where we are by the 3rd of Febuary, Not sure what we are going to do, so Im reaching out for donations in any amount to help raise the money for this deposit so that we may obtain service.

Hello, recently I have gone through painful dental procedures but had to stop because I ran out of money. I am currently getting by each day taking tylenol to help with the pain. The tylenol was given to me by my neighbor who also makes meals for us to eat.
I need a full upper denture to be able to eat solid foods again and need 5 teeth replaced on the bottom. Currently I am getting by with only a few intact teeth and eating soft foods that do not require a lot of chewing.

I am a 43 year old man living in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I recently became unemployed after working for the same company full time for 15 years. I am not used to being unemployed, and, my living situation is about to change drastically. If I do not get some kind of financial help soon I could end up homeless.
I have applied for unemployment, but have not received any checks, and it has been more than a month.
I received my tax refund, but that only saved me this month. I will have nothing to pay my bills from now on..until who knows when. I am seriously worried.
I am not only worried for me, but, I also have a room-mate who is a former heart attack/stroke survivor. If it wasn't for his minimal pension($130 a month and food stamps) he would have nothing.
I let him stay with me out of the kindness of my heart..now what?
I could probably get a job, but, the economy in Michigan is so bad, that there are thousands of people looking for work, and, there are no decent paying jobs available.
And, with Gm saying they are going to let another 45,000 people go.
What kind of hope is that?

I have always taken care of myself and my family and find posting this a very humbling experience.
I have been a nurse for 18 years, most recently working with a local Hospice. My only child died 19
months ago at the age of 22. Since then my world has done nothing but spirial downward.
The grief and depression has caused me to take medical leave from work. Since Jerrys death I have
been stricken with Fibromyalgia, anxiety attacks, and of course depression. I have lost my home to
foreclosure, my car was repossessed for nonpayment and I lost my husband who just couldn't understand
the pain of losing a child (he was not Jerrys father and has no children of his own).
I am living in a small rented duplex and borrowing money from my retired father to pay my bills. He can not
afford to continue helping me.
I need financial help for just a few more months until my long term disability through work is approved.
My expenses are approx. $1,200/mo.
If you are unable to donate money to help, I can try to pay back any loan in small installments. I've sold off
all I have of value and have no other way, but to humbling as for help. Life has been so hard lately.

My name is Renee and i am 31 years old. I have a daughter that is disabled and recieves ssi. I was a student but am not any longer. I have been trying to get a job, however i live in the desert and am limited to the immediate area surrounding my apartment. My phone is getting cut off on monday and rent is incomplete and will be late because i have not recieved her ssi yet. We are almost out of milk( will be out tomorow) and have very limited food left until the seventh when i get food stamps. I have already exhaused most food box providers (the last one is 14 mile round trip on foot and its too hot and sunny for my daughter and me to go out that long). I never thought it would come to this but here I am. My husband was laid off last year for 3 months and we were already living paycheck to paycheck. He started back to work but is making 6.00 less per hour and I cannot keep up with my bills. I am behind on my gas bill 60.00, my electric bill 76.00. I am going to be 60 days late on my car payment on 5-12, I just made a payment to them on Friday and they call me at least 8 times a day wanting more. I am 700 behind on my May rent, and 140 behind on my phone bill, and I owe the water company 3 months of payment 173 total and am behind 111.19.
Everytime I make payments I may just keep the bills on for another month, but I cannot ever get ahead. I am to the point I have pawned all my kids video games, and I feel sick, and want to cry. I have to try and sell junk around my house just to get gas to get to and from work. I have 3 kids at home 7,11 and 12, and my oldest is 21 and just got accepted to U of A this fall and has recieved grants to cover almost all of it, and it makes me sad I cannot help her because I am always behind and struggling. I have other bills too. I have gone without cable for the last 5 years to save money. Anything would help. We need bread, cheese and eggs. I have no money and do not get paid again until the 15th. My name is Elaine and I am working through an endless and nasty divorce where my ex- is fighting for custody of one of our two children. My son has mental health issues as has been placed in a residential treatment center for abusive and destructive behaviors to which I hope he learns the tools needed to function in society. Well, where do I start? After I got home from a long deployment in Iraq, September of 2005, I received joint physical and legal custody of my son, Coby, early 2006. After a few months of having joint custody, my ex, Heather, took me to court to take it away. When my son was 6 years old, I got a call at work from a daycare center, which my ex just got our son kicked out of because she was being belligerent with the manager, to let me know that they found my son outside at the bus stop after school crying his heart out, alone and scared because his mother was not there to get him. They told me that she has done this several times before. She told the daycare center that she expected him to walk home. Children and Youth Services were contacted. A few weeks later I ran into Heather's ex best friend, she told me that while my ex and I were still together and while I was at work, Heather left Coby in her best friend's house alone, unknown to anyone, for hours while out partying. Children and Youth Services were contacted when her friend found Coby in the house. Always wondered why they stopped being friends, now I know! To this day Coby is traumatized to be left alone. He cries and shakes uncontrollably when he thinks he's alone. I took Heather to court to switch Coby to the school district that I lived in because she was moving out of his current school district. I thought it would be a good idea since he already made friends from wrestling at my school district. I tried to do it the easy way and ask her to switch him but she fought me the whole way, so I had to take it to court. During his first year at the new school, Coby was diagnosed with ADHD. He was put on a medication called Vyvanse, plus he started to get mobile therapy for a lot of the issues that he is having trouble coping with including abandonment. Since his mobile therapy has started in the end of 2007, he has admitted to his mobile therapist that his mother leaves him alone at her house, is not given his medication at her house, sometimes there's not enough or no food at her house for him to eat(his weight is always fluctuating-up at my house, down at hers). The mobile therapist asked him why he had bruises on his arm. He told her that he fell down at the playground, but there was fingertip type bruises. When questioned by her again, he told her that him mother grabbed him by the arm and pulled hard. During the one and only visit which just happened last week(June 2009), Heather told the mobile therapist that she saw no reason for the mobile therapy or for the summer school which the school has recommended he attend to help him be able to handle 4th grade. Heather also told the mobile therapist she sees no problem letting him walk by himself to a park program in a park where gangs are prominent. Heather's been evicted from a former residence, has had her electric shut off at her current residence. It's also been an ongoing problem with clothing that is way too small for him at his mother's house. He normally wears a 10/12, but she insists on putting him in size 8 pants and 6/7 shirts. His step-brother also has ADHD and he has a person come to the house to help him refocus called a TSS. While the TSS was there one day, Coby was doing a Find It homework where he had to find words with double EE. He asked my fiancee how to spell weed, and admitted that his mother had both types of cigarettes at her house. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I have documentation for everything. I have all I need to get full custody. I just need more funds to get there. Please help this very emotionally distressed 9 year old boy to have a more stable life. Wound up with depression, which i've learned to cope with. meds just dull the pain but i've come to terms after greiving. Then Dad has gambling problem, borrowed some money from people he shouldn't have. I took out a $20,000 loan to cover. That's on top of my $6000 student loan.
That's a lot of debt, but I figure I could manage, just one day at a time and lots of sacrifice. And thought I would make it up after I came out into the "real world"...
But then I got fired from my already measly $11.50 per hour part time retail job. It wasn't much, but combined with some house keeping work on the side, it took care of the re-payments and rent. Took 7 months but I have a new job now, but payments lapsed and my credit is crushed. I used credit for the major bills as I could since my 2 month emergency fund ran out.
I'm spinning out of control again. I'm depsperate.

I have to pay on my credit card, the payment every month is $25.00 about. I usually if I have cleaning jobs pay like $30.00-$40.00 on it. I have been trying to go to many doctors to see what my medical conditions are and now my insurance was turned off. I LOVE THE SYSTEM.. if you know what I mean... so now I have to wait 45 days and i need my Tegrotol pill and stuff for me mental health. I also need a NEW water pill for my feet and ankles I have the pills waiting for me, but I have no income to pick them up. I am not sure how much they are. As many of you know North Dakota had a really bad winter....Not a day went by that wasn't below freezing. I had to run the heat all winter to keep the pipes from freezing. I am a disabled woman and was not even in the state to take care of the bill. they shut off my power in may and now that I am ready to go home to my new house, they will not turn the power back on until I pay $1,029.00 plus the $200 dollar deposit. I tried many times to explain my plight to the power company but I guess being disabled doesn't matterto them. My friend tried to turn power on in her name for me but they will not turn the power on for anyone until that bil plus deposit is paid in full. please help!!! Hello, I am a disabled mom of 3 kids under 3, My husband is unable to work like he used to due to a head injury that has caused him many many problems. We live with his mother who is on oxygen and our bills have become unmanageable. Electricity is close to 500$ a month because of the oxygen machine and the water bills in our mobile home park are just short of robbery, this month it is 63.00, and we barely use water. I am here requesting some help with school. I am a fulltime nursing student and have applied to many scholarships, grants, financial aide etc, and haven't gotten much help at all. I feel devastated and don't know what I'm going to do to get through school the last year. I have a learning disability and that really takes all my time trying to keep up with courseload so it's extra hard for me, which nursing school is already EXTREMELY hard as it is. I usually spend 60 hours a week at school or studying which is a fulltime job in itself and cuts into my chances at having anytime left for a job. Added to all of that, where I live they are on a hiring freeze in the healthcare industry. I'm 8 months away from graduation and I don't know how I'm going to pay any bills, or buy groceries or even how I'm going to have gas to get to school. I am very upset with how hard, financially, it is on medical students when there is such a nursing shortage! You would think they would make it soo easy and aeveryone would get help since the governement is the one who is saying there is such a huge shortage. There is but half the people I know who graduated still don't have jobs a year later, and nurses are usually hired right after graduation!! I HAVE TRIED ALL MY OPTIONS, EVERY SINGLE SCHOLARSHIP, GRANT, LOAN PROGRAM, WORK STUDY EVERYTHING LITTERALLY! SO NOW I'M LEFT WITH BEGGING. I have been turned down in writing by 5 different scholarships just in the last week! (So much for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act they passed in February, that's going to be used 2010-2011 school year, which won't include me.) Hi I am a single mum, 41 years old with 2 beautiful boys aged 7 and 9. This is the first time I have ever had to ask for any financial assistance and I have no idea how to ask someone you don't even know to help....
First of all a bit about my situation...
My sister was admitted to hospital after 2 suicide attemps, this by itself has been a terrible thing to deal with. Over the last few months I have spent most days travelling to my sisters house to help with my mother looking after my sisters 3 girls. Trying to make their lives as normal as we can. This has been hard, as each morning I have to get my kids to school first and then drive an hour to my sisters house ad do everything there too. After 8 weeks of being in hospital my sister has been released and diagnosed with a multiple personality disorder as well as her annorexia she has dealt with for the past 3 years. As you can imagine she is in need as a lot of support from the rest of the family. Being a single mum herself she has only got mum and dad and myself to help. Over the last few years there have been many times I have had to have her girls come and stay with us for weeks at a time. Having 5 children to look after by myself has been really hard but you do anything for family....
Saying all this now I must get back to my situation. I am $1800 behind in my rent and face eviction, with nowhere to go at all. I am lucky that my landlord has given me a few weeks to pay this but have no way of saving any money towards it. I live from week to week as it is at the moment, just struggling to pay rent, household bills, food school expenses, etc etc. We have not had hot water here since April as tho hot water service broke and because I am behind in the rent I was hesitant to contact the landlord as I felt so bad. He has now been told and is willing to come and look at it and fix it but last month our gas was disconnected because I was behind in the bill. I have since caught up with the overdue gads bill and am now paying $40 a week to stay on top of it. The problem is I have to pay $100 to have the gas service reconnected. When you have no extra money each week coming up with even $100 dollars is impossible. We have been surving doing our cooking on my camping stove and boiling water for baths but as you can imagine it is very hard. My electrcity bill is also $500 dollars overdue and I am facing disconnection with power too. I also pay $40 a week on that now but it is taking awhile to catch up.
How do you ask someone you don't know for this finanicial help?? I am just hoping that there are some kind, generous people out there that are in a position to help me out. In January of this year 2009, I lost my mother to Cancer, aged 63 years, in August of this year, I was made redundant, due to restructuring of the department, also in August, I lost my sister (32) and today, my wife of 15 years walked out on me. I now have no money, two funerals and a redundancy has decimated my funds and now I am going to be asked to leave my home unless I can find £650 by the 23/11/2009, if there is anyone that can help, I would dearly love to hear from you, I am so desperate I really do not know where to turn.
